Outcomes
Hi fans, lets talk about Vafashionweek. It was great, and the talent was there. I participated as a vendor this year, custom sewing and fashion design. The outcome was great. I met a lot of amazing people. The show on Saturday night started a few minutes late, but overall it was great. There was even a vendor who provides hulas lessons for parties. There were so many people selling jewelry, that I think next year I will design a line of handcrafted jewelry myself. Here are just a few pictures of my booth. If interested in purchasing any of the items email me, Teresa at vmokoena@cox.net. Thanks for looking. By the way, has anyone heard of Sten Martin, or Sten Martin Jonssen? He is on facebook, you tube, vimeo and twitter. I found him a few days ago; he is an amazing designer. You have to see how he drapes on the dress form. Wow! what talent.

Before and After
Here I am again. I decided to post some before and after photos of two gowns from a previous fashion show at Va Fashion Week in Norfolk. One is a yellow silk petal gown, and the other is a blue silk organza gown with a beaded neckline. All of the beading is done by hand, and all of the petals on the yellow gown are individual. There are approximately 500 petals, give or take a few , on this gown. Both gowns are hand dyed using fiber reactive dyes from Dharma trading co. Enjoy the photos.

First Post
Hi, everyone, here is my very first post ever. Today I have been working on a flag for a friend of mine. I have also been doing alterations today. I would also like to introduce you to my husband Victor. He is wearing a costume I created for a program at church. It was King and Queen's Day. Hope you like it. See you soon.
